Sender Identification of SMS sender

Sender Identification is the name or number which SMS receiver will see on their mobile phone. GSM cellular operators accept up to an 11-character Alpha-Numeric String and CDMA cellular operators allow only Numeric String as Sender Identification that must be a post paid mobile number

Rule of Allotting Sender ID

1. Maximum eight character alphanumeric sender id is allowed for GSM and 12 digit

    post paid mobile number for CDMA Mobile
2. Must not contain blank spaces
3. The first character cannot be "0" (zero)
4. Must not contain accented characters
5. Must not contain punctuated/special characters, such as * $ < , > ? ! % [ ] | \
6. Must not contain Greek characters
7. Must not just be a name of an individual
8. For CDMA sender id required latest bill of any post paid mobile (GSM)
